A new day starts
A new day starts

For years I've been telling everyone around me not to lose touch with tech. Ok, so I'm not a kid (like I remember when phones had cords), but I'm not 'out in the pasture' either. I've noticed that people in all walks of life and all ages either 'really get it' when it comes to technology and all that encompasses or they're as lost as 'that sock in the dryer'. I'd like to think that I'm somewhere in the middle but really, some days I could be at either end of that spectrum.

So, I figured I could share my story with you since I'm probably like alot of you and we could laugh along the way, learn from each other, share finds and in the end just keep Cruisin' On. That's what we named the company, by the way...Cruisin' On llc, now you know what the name means. We (and my wonderful wife and former fiance') have always felt like no matter what happened in life, good or bad, we would always try to keep Cruisin' On and most importantly - together. So welcome to our Blog, we hope to share this journey together with you!

I'd really been thinking about all the cool things you can do thanks to the web and social media, at least for the good parts I mean. Life doesn't always give you what you want when you're sure what it is you want so what I'm trying to say is that sometimes you have to try something new if you want to get somewhere different, which is how I came up with "Think I'll try the tech route". I must share I am not a programmer, code writer, web designer or any of those cool things - I'm just a regular person out here hoping to do a little better than I am now.

Anyway, back to our little website here. There are some really cool things out there! There's also some things that while they may not be universe changing - they might just make day-to-day little easier. One of the best things anyone can do is share when they find something really neat! We've know someone who whenever they see one of our cool finds says "I need you to send me that link"! Maybe we'll even have to start a section called "Link of the week" with a couple highlights for you.

I have to say wow! After what feels like 'not that long a time at all' I am totally impressed by everyone out there in the "Wide World of the Web" and how did you ever figure all this out??

In my next installment, I'll talk about "all the first steps that weren't". Are we having fun yet? Keep having fun, keep Cruisin' On! See you in our next Post.
